WELCOME TO SMETANA!

SMETANA is a gastrobar

with a fresh glance at European cuisine, flavored with nostalgic Polish and Ukrainian accents. We opened at the end of 2022 to become a new spot on the gastronomical landscape of Glenview.


Our inspiration was to create warm and comfortable ambience where you will be equally pleased to come for a business lunch, family dinner or a couple of cocktails with friends. We are kid-friendly and have delicious and healthy desserts on the menu.

About our restaurant
Our small restaurant has a limited amount of seating, 35 to be exact. We make homemade Eastern European food using only fresh ingredients, we do not freeze our food.

In this regard, the waiting time for some dishes may be longer than usual. Due to this fact, would like to present our new rules. Parties of more than 8 people can only be served by pre-order or package pre-order.
